Woloshin banya — complex de băi (sauna)

Woloshin banya is a bathhouse complex in Durlesti, on Stradela 1 Codrilor. It holds four separate spaces, each with its own character: Forest, a private bath for two to four people with a view over the woods; Valhalla, a wood-fired Scandinavian sauna for two to six; Stejar, a traditional log bathhouse seating up to twelve; and Dragon, an underground spa complex open to walk-in guests.

A session includes steaming with a bath master, alternating hot water with the tub and the cold pool, massage, herbal treatments and sound therapy. Robe, towel, felt hat, slippers, locker and toiletries are part of the price, with no separate charges.

Customers are highly satisfied – this is the best rated venue in the Durlesti section of the catalogue. Three things recur in reviews: bath masters who know the craft and clearly enjoy it, an atmosphere that takes you out of the city entirely, and the welcome from the team.
