Hotel Diplomat Club

Hotel Diplomat Club stands on Strada Lacului 39, in a quiet part of Chișinău's Centru sector, on a gated plot with a landscaped garden. It has twelve rooms — singles, doubles and junior suites — and its own restaurant serving European and Japanese cuisine, open to outside visitors too. The grounds include a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, spa area, billiard room and snack bar, and breakfast is served à la carte. Events are hosted across eight spaces — four indoor halls and four terraces — with in-house catering, and airport transfers are arranged on request. Customers are highly satisfied. The garden and elegant common areas, the clean pools, the restaurant food and the courtesy of the staff come up most often. Criticism clusters around access and in-room fittings: the approach street is narrow and in places has no pavement, the spiral staircase is awkward, and some guests found the television or internet out of order, pillows too firm and a stale smell in the room. Long waits for food are also mentioned, even with the dining room nearly empty. Without a car, plan the walk from the public transport stop in advance.
