Spitalul Clinic Municipal \u201eSf\u00e2nta Treime\u201d at 11 Alecu Russo Street in the R\u00e2\u0219cani district is the municipality's multi-profile hospital for adults, opened in 1976 as City Hospital No. 3 and renamed in 1994. The emergency department works permanently; administrative hours are not published, only visiting hours.<\/p>\n
The hospital has over twenty clinical wards and sixteen university clinics: general, septic and colorectal surgery, cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardiology with a heart-attack unit and cardiac rehabilitation, a stroke unit and neuro-rehabilitation, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, internal medicine, pulmonology, hepatology, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology with haemodialysis and toxicology \u2014 the last two being rare services in the city. Emergency admission is unconditional regardless of insurance, via 112 or the emergency department; planned admission requires a referral and CNAM insurance; walking in without a referral is paid.<\/p>\n
