Its strength is the in-house patisserie: cream-and-meringue wafer rolls have become the thing people come for, alongside homemade cakes, poppy-seed bakes and other desserts made in small batches. Decaf coffee is available, and in summer guests sit on a terrace crowded with greenery. The interior, full of old objects, is compared by visitors to a cafe inside a British house.<\/p>\n
