UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, defends children's rights and supports their development. In Moldova it works with the government, local authorities and partners on maternal and child health, immunisation, inclusive quality education, protecting children from violence and family separation, youth engagement and support for refugee children.

UNICEF does not provide direct individual aid; it helps build better public services. Parents, teachers and young people may find its information campaigns, child health and development guides, adolescent programmes and volunteering useful. Specialists and NGOs can look at vacancies, consultancies and partnership calls.

The UNICEF office is in UN House at 131 Strada 31 August 1989, Centru sector. Current information, publications and partnership opportunities are on unicef.org/moldova; meetings at the office are by prior appointment.

[3829,3748

254
post-24271","listing","type-listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","listing-category-organizatii-internationale-en","listing-category-public-institutions-embassies","features-romanian-spoken","features-russian-spoken","location-centre

International organizations","Public institutions & embassies","Romanian spoken","Russian spoken","Centre","Необязательно","Необязательно","Необязательно
