The State Tax Service, the Customs Service and other institutions operate under it.<\/p>\n<p>Residents and accountants turn to the ministry for clarification of tax legislation and accounting standards, to take part in public consultations on draft regulations, or to file petitions. Tax returns, payments and tax certificates are handled by the State Tax Service, not the ministry.
