The Moldsilva Agency is Moldova's central administrative authority for forestry. It manages state-owned forests through a network of forestry enterprises and nature reserves, and organises afforestation and forest regeneration, protection of the forest fund and the management of game resources.<\/p>\n
Residents and organisations contact Moldsilva about state forests: to report illegal logging or other violations, to ask about afforestation and planting work, about the regional forestry enterprises that supply seedlings and timber, and about hunting on forest land. Day-to-day matters on the ground are handled by the territorial forestry enterprises.<\/p>\n
