The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) is responsible for food safety along the whole chain, from field and farm to the shop shelf. It also covers veterinary and plant health inspection, animal health and organic farming, and runs a network of laboratories and regional offices.

Food producers, importers and retailers come here for registration, sanitary-veterinary authorisations and export certificates. Consumers can report suspicious or unsafe food via the consumer line or by petition. Pet owners ask here about the veterinary documents needed to travel with an animal; it is best to check the details well in advance.

The head office is at 63 Mihail Kogalniceanu Street in the Centru district. Phone (consumer line): +373 22 511 511, website ansa.gov.md, plus Facebook and TikTok pages. Procedures and inspection checklists are published on the website.

[3817,3748

254
post-24590","listing","type-listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","listing-category-agentii-servicii-publice-en","listing-category-public-institutions-embassies","features-romanian-spoken","features-russian-spoken","location-centre

Public agencies and services","Public institutions & embassies","Romanian spoken","Russian spoken","Centre","Необязательно","Необязательно","Необязательно
