It manages the health insurance funds, contracts hospitals, health centres and pharmacies, and monitors the volume and quality of services covered by the policy.<\/p>\n<p>People contact CNAM to check whether they are insured, to find out who must buy a health insurance policy individually and by when, which services and reimbursed medicines are covered, and how to dispute unpaid premium claims. Most questions are handled through the free hotline; visitors say calls can wait in a queue, so it helps to check the website first.<\/p>\n<p>The head office is at Vlaicu P\u00e2rc\u0103lab Street 46 (Centru sector).
