The Honorary Consulate of the Syrian Arab Republic in Chisinau is headed by an honorary consul. Syria has no resident embassy in Moldova: according to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry's diplomatic list, Moldova is covered by the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest, which also has a consular section.

An honorary consul has limited functions: information and assistance for Syrian citizens in Moldova, including students, and liaison with the embassy. Passports, visas, legalisation and other official documents are handled by the embassy in Bucharest, so it is worth checking the procedure and timing well in advance.

The consulate is located at 14 Bucuresti Street in the Centru district, in the city centre. Its contact details are not published in official sources, so for document matters it is safer to contact the consular section of the embassy in Bucharest directly and confirm the list of required documents there.

[3826,3748

254
post-24884","listing","type-listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","listing-category-embassies-consulates","listing-category-public-institutions-embassies","features-romanian-spoken","features-russian-spoken","location-centre

Embassies and consulates","Public institutions & embassies","Romanian spoken","Russian spoken","Centre","Необязательно","Необязательно","Необязательно
