The Honorary Consulate of Estonia in Chisinau represents the country in Moldova through an honorary consul. Unlike an embassy, an honorary consulate has limited consular functions: it supports economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries and acts as a local point of contact.

Estonian citizens in Moldova can turn to it for assistance, information and useful contacts, and the consul can sometimes help with preparing or forwarding documents. Passports and visas are normally handled by the embassy. The Estonian embassy accredited to Moldova is in Bucharest, at Aleea Modrogan 4A, tel. +40 21 311 5522; there is also an embassy office in Chisinau at 18 Nicolae Iorga Street.

The consulate is located at 83 București Street in the Centru district. Phone: +373 22 244 245, and the email address is listed in the contacts below. Honorary consulates often work by appointment, so call or write before you visit. Contact details come from the diplomatic list of Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and should be verified.

[3826,3748

254
post-24951","listing","type-listing","status-publish","hentry","listing-category-embassies-consulates","listing-category-public-institutions-embassies","features-romanian-spoken","features-russian-spoken","location-centre

Embassies and consulates","Public institutions & embassies","Romanian spoken","Russian spoken","Centre","Необязательно","Необязательно","Необязательно
