The Honorary Consulate of Belgium in Chisinau represents the country in Moldova through an honorary consul. Unlike an embassy, an honorary consulate has limited consular functions: it supports economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries and acts as a local point of contact.

Belgian citizens in Moldova can turn to it for assistance, information and useful contacts, and the consul can sometimes help with preparing or forwarding documents. Passports and visas are normally handled by the embassy. The consular section of the Belgian Embassy covering Moldova is in Bucharest, at 58 Dacia Boulevard, tel. +40 21 212 36 80, email bucharest@diplobel.fed.be.

The consulate is located at 2/1 Porumbiței Street in the Telecentru district. Phone: +373 69 414 041, email: belgcons.md@protonmail.com. Honorary consulates often work by appointment, so call or write before you visit. Contact details come from the diplomatic list of Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and should be verified.

[3824,3746

212
post-24957","listing","type-listing","status-publish","hentry","listing-category-ambasade-consulate","listing-category-institutii-publice-si-ambasade","features-vorbim-romana","features-govorim-po-russki","location-telecentru

Ambasade și consulate","Instituții publice și ambasade","Vorbim română","Говорим по-русски","Telecentru","Optional","Optional","Optional
