The Honorary Consulate of the Philippines in Chisinau represents the country in Moldova through an honorary consul. Unlike an embassy, an honorary consulate has limited consular functions: it supports economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries and acts as a local point of contact.

Filipino citizens in Moldova can turn to it for assistance, information and useful contacts, and the consul can sometimes help with preparing or forwarding documents. Passports and visas are normally handled by the embassy. The Philippine embassy accredited to Moldova is in Budapest, at 58 Gábor Áron Street, tel. +36 1 391 43 00.

The consulate is located at 5/4 Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard (V Continental Business Center) in the Centru district. Phone: +373 69 870 870, email: consul@phconsulate.md. Honorary consulates often work by appointment, so call or write before you visit. Contact details come from the diplomatic list of Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and should be verified.

[3826,3748

254
post-24975","listing","type-listing","status-publish","hentry","listing-category-embassies-consulates","listing-category-public-institutions-embassies","features-romanian-spoken","features-russian-spoken","location-centre

Embassies and consulates","Public institutions & embassies","Romanian spoken","Russian spoken","Centre","Необязательно","Необязательно","Необязательно
