The aggregate index reached 230.5% of the 2019 benchmark: 242.6% for new-build and 222.2% for the resale market.<\/p>\n<p>The first signs of cooling have appeared, though: compared with Q1, the index fell by 1.1% \u2014 by 1.7% on the resale market and 0.2% for new-build. The NBM still sees a risk of residential property overvaluation. The number of property transactions rose by 6.2% quarter on quarter and by 86.9% year on year. The capital accounts for 46.8% of the country\u2019s housing sales, and mortgages make up 47% of property transactions in Chisinau.<\/p>\n<h2>What it means for you<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Buyers: the dip is small, not a correction.
