{"id":21365,"date":"2026-09-25T16:07:22","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T13:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yell.md\/anre-gas-tariff-october\/"},"modified":"2026-09-25T16:07:22","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T13:07:22","slug":"anre-gas-tariff-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yell.md\/en\/anre-gas-tariff-october\/","title":{"rendered":"ANRE proposes a 28.8% gas price increase for households from October 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>26.14 lei<\/strong> \u2014 the price households in Moldova may pay for one cubic metre of natural gas from October 1, VAT included, up from 20.30 lei today.<\/p>\n<p>The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has published a draft of the new tariff: an increase of 5.84 lei per m\u00b3, or 28.8%. The supplier Energocom had asked for slightly more \u2014 26.25 lei. ANRE is scheduled to take the final decision at its meeting on September 28.<\/p>\n<p>Two factors drive the increase. The first is the cost of gas for the fourth quarter: 159.76 million m\u00b3 at an average purchase price of 839.88 euros per 1,000 m\u00b3, or about 2.72 billion lei. The second is Energocom\u2019s deficit of 182 million lei accumulated in January\u2013September 2026; after deducting the surplus left over from 2025, about 167.2 million lei net is built into the tariff to be recovered by year-end.<\/p>\n<h2>What it means for you<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>At 100 m\u00b3 a month, a household gas bill rises by roughly 584 lei.<\/li>\n<li>If you rent out property with utilities included, recalculate the rent for the heating season.<\/li>\n<li>For employers: household costs go up right at the start of the heating season \u2014 expect conversations about pay.<\/li>\n<li>The tariff is not yet approved: watch for ANRE\u2019s decision on September 28.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/bani.md\/factura-la-gaz-va-exploda-din-octombrie-anre-propune-o-majorare-a-tarifului-de-aproape-29\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bani.md<\/a>, 25.09.2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANRE proposes raising the household gas price from 20.30 to 26.14 lei per m\u00b3.
