In central Chisinau and in locations suited to apartment blocks, 100 m\u00b2 of land (one \u201car\u201d) now costs more than \u20ac100,000. With prices this high, plot sales fell in the first half of 2026, according to an analysis by Victor Cernomorcenco of Acces Imobil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In H1, 1,659 plots were sold, compared with 2,396 a year earlier \u2014 down 30.8%. The most sought-after plots have utilities and a total price of up to \u20ac50,000. Bank loans financed 40.3% of purchases. Buyers are moving away from pricier suburbs (Codru, Durle\u0219ti, Ialoveni, St\u0103uceni) to villages further out, such as Suruceni, Coju\u0219na, Bude\u0219ti and Mile\u0219tii Mici. Even so, the market remains more than twice its pre-pandemic size.<\/p>\n
