Money spent by foreign visitors flows to hotels and guesthouses, restaurants, wineries, transport companies, heritage sites and creative industries. APIT wants inbound tourism treated as part of export policy and lists its priorities: competitive tourism products, better connectivity, investment, digitalisation, staff training and destination management.<\/p>\n<p>The trend continues in 2026: according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnm.md\/ro\/content\/conturile-internationale-ale-republicii-moldova-trimestrul-ii-2026-date-provizorii\">National Bank data<\/a>, services exports grew 13.2% year on year in Q2 to 790.7 million euros, driven mainly by travel and IT.<\/p>\n<h2>What it means for you<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Hotels, restaurants, wineries and travel agencies may find opportunities in foreign visitor demand.
