About the service
Yell Chisinau (yell.md) is an online business directory for Chișinău. By using the site you accept these terms.
Directory information
Business data comes from public sources and from the owners themselves. We verify it where we can, but we do not guarantee that opening hours, phone numbers or addresses are current. Check with the business before you travel.
Yell Chisinau is not a party to the relationship between a visitor and a business and is not responsible for the quality of services provided.
Adding and claiming a business
A basic listing is free. Every listing goes through moderation. We may refuse or remove a page containing false data, illegal activity or offensive content.
By submitting business data you confirm that you have the right to publish it and grant us the right to display it on the site.
Reviews
A review must describe personal experience. Insults, other people’s personal data, advertising, copied text, paid reviews and reviews written by competitors are not allowed. We remove reviews that break these rules.

Jobs
Businesses in the directory may post job vacancies. Posting is paid per application: the business tops up its balance against an invoice (minimum 500 lei), and 50 lei is deducted for each application from a candidate whose phone was confirmed with an SMS code. Applications without a confirmed phone and a repeat application from the same candidate to the same job within 30 days are free. If the balance is not enough for one application, the business’s jobs are hidden from the site (not deleted) and return after a top-up. An application that is spam can be disputed within 3 days by quoting the application ID from the e-mail; the amount is returned to the balance. A candidate not matching the job requirements is not a reason for a refund. Unused balance does not expire and is refunded on the business’s written request.
Every job goes through moderation and is published for no more than 60 days, after which it closes automatically.
The business is responsible for the content of the job post: accuracy of the information, the stated salary and conditions, compliance with labour law and the absence of discriminatory requirements.
Not allowed:
- jobs without a real employer, or posted on behalf of another company without its consent;
- jobs abroad offered by anyone without a licence for placing workers abroad;
- pyramid schemes, “earnings with no investment” and any offer that requires the candidate to pay (for training, documents, materials, registration etc.);
- illegal activity, adult content, discriminatory requirements;
- contact details and links in the job text — candidates apply through the form on the site.
Applications. Candidates’ applications are sent to the business’s e-mail. From the moment of receipt the business is a separate controller of this data: it uses it only to select candidates for that job, in line with Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, does not pass it to third parties and does not use it for marketing.
Removal. We may refuse, suspend or remove without notice a job that breaks these rules, without refund; for repeated or serious breaches we may block the business from posting jobs.
Yell Chisinau is not a recruitment agency, takes no part in selection and does not guarantee employment or any number of applications.
Independent tradespeople
Tradespeople who work for themselves can have a listing on Yell. We fill it in together with the tradesperson, who gets access to the account area and is responsible for the accuracy of the data.
- The listing shows a name or nickname, service areas, services, a description and, if the tradesperson provides them, a personal photo and photos of their work. No home address is published.
- By providing a personal photo and work photos, the tradesperson confirms they hold the rights to them and agrees to their publication on Yell. They can be removed at any time in the account area or by writing to [email protected].
- “Phone verified” only means the tradesperson entered a code sent by SMS to the number on the listing. “Identity verified” only means we have seen an ID document of the person who manages the listing. We do not check qualifications, permits, tax status or the quality of work.
- Yell is not a party to any agreement between a client and a tradesperson and is not responsible for the work, prices, deadlines or guarantees. We recommend agreeing terms in writing and leaving a review afterwards.
- The free listing has no expiry. The Tradesperson plan costs 990 lei per year, and the Tradesperson Showcase plan (an extended page: more photos and videos, prices, FAQ, several phone numbers, service area and a request form) costs 2,490 lei per year. Both are paid by invoice — by bank transfer using the details on the invoice or via Paynet (see “Paid services and payment”) — and do not renew automatically. You can switch from Tradesperson to Tradesperson Showcase at any time: you pay the difference for the remaining months, and the plan’s end date stays the same.
- We may hide or remove a listing if the data is false, if one person has several listings, or after confirmed complaints.
Advertising
The site shows Google AdSense advertising and paid placements. Paid positions are labelled. Advertising does not influence review content or business data.
Copyright
The structure of the directory, our own texts and the design belong to Yell Chisinau. Business logos and photos belong to their owners. Photos and reviews from Google Maps are shown with attribution.
Automated data collection
Automated collection of data from yell.md (scraping, crawling, bulk copying), including via bots, scripts or APIs, is prohibited without our written consent. Search engines and AI assistants that respect robots.txt are excepted. The catalog’s texts and structure are protected; reuse entitles us to demand removal and compensation.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses arising from use of information on the site or from temporary unavailability of the service.

Paid services and payment
A basic listing in the catalogue is free. Paid plans are available in addition: Extended profile — 990 MDL a year (or 119 MDL a month), Managed profile — 3,900 MDL a year, packages for chains and companies with several addresses — from 5,900 MDL a year, as well as separate services (professional profile setup, starter bundle). Plan contents and current prices are published on the Pricing page; for a specific order the price stated in the invoice applies.
All prices are shown in Moldovan lei (MDL) and are final: no VAT is added and there are no hidden fees.
Payment methods. Visa or Mastercard through the acquiring bank’s secure page with 3-D Secure confirmation, or bank transfer against an invoice. Your card details are processed by the bank and are not stored on Yell servers.
Acceptance of the offer. These terms constitute a public offer. Paying an invoice issued by Yell, or paying by card on the website, means full acceptance of these terms; no separate contract needs to be signed. On request we issue a contract and a certificate of services rendered.
Activation. The service is digital and is activated automatically once payment is confirmed, usually within a few minutes; for bank transfer — no later than one working day after the funds are received. There is no physical delivery. Confirmation is sent to the e-mail address given at payment.
Term. 365 days for annual payment and 30 days for monthly payment, counted from activation.
Monthly payment. The minimum term is three months. After that the charge renews automatically every month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in your dashboard or by writing to [email protected]; access remains until the end of the month already paid for.
Annual payment. Where automatic renewal is enabled, we notify you 14 days before the charge. You may opt out at any time before the charge date.
End of term. If a plan is not renewed, the listing is not deleted — it returns to the free plan. Data, reviews and the page address are kept; only the paid features switch off.
Changing plan. You may upgrade at any time by paying the difference for the remaining term. Downgrades take effect from the next period.
Price changes. We may change prices. For a period already paid for the price stays the same; new terms apply from the next renewal, of which we give advance notice.
Website monitoring. On paid profiles we check the business website listed on the profile once a month: whether it opens, whether foreign content (for example, casino ads) has appeared, and whether the domain has been lost. If we notice a problem, we notify the business by e-mail. This is an informational service: it is not a security audit and does not guarantee the website’s protection.
