Your experience matters
Yell.md is an open platform: anyone who has used a business’s services can share how it went. We invite you to review any experience — good, bad or ordinary. Honest reviews help other people choose, and show businesses what works and what needs fixing.
How to review a business
- Find the business using search or the list of categories.
- On the business page, click “Write a review”.
- Give a rating from 1 to 5 stars and describe how it went.
- Confirm your phone number with the SMS code — the review appears on the business page.
We publish every rating
Positive, negative and neutral reviews are published the same way. We do not remove a review just because the business does not like it. Paid plans have no effect on reviews: a business cannot pay to remove criticism or to get a higher rating.
Real people only
A review is published after its author confirms their phone number with an SMS code. This way every review comes from a real person, not an anonymous account.
- One phone number can leave one review per business.
- The number is never shown on the site or passed to the business.
- If the number is not from Moldova, the review is published after a moderator check.
What we remove
We moderate the form, not the opinion. We remove reviews or parts of them that contain:
- obscene language, insults or threats;
- personal data: other people’s phone numbers and addresses, employees’ names in an offensive context;
- advertising, links, spam or text unrelated to the business;
- fake reviews: written by the business about itself, by competitors or in exchange for a reward;
- discrimination and anything that breaks the law.
Businesses can reply
The business owner can publicly reply to any review: to thank, apologise or explain their position. To do so, the owner claims the business listing and writes the reply in their account, under “Reviews”. The reply appears below the review, and the author is notified.
We encourage businesses to reply to every review, especially critical ones: a calm reply often says more about a business than the rating itself.
If you disagree with a review
Write to [email protected] and include the link. If the review breaks these rules, we will remove it. If it does not, and you simply disagree with the author’s opinion, it is better to reply publicly. We do not act as a judge in disputes between a customer and a business.
Google reviews
Listings also show reviews from Google Maps. They are published by Google, and we do not moderate them.
