Republican Rehabilitation Centre for Children

Centrul Republican de Reabilitare pentru Copii (IMSP CRRC) at 147 Grenoble Street in the Botanica district is the Ministry of Health's national paediatric rehabilitation institution, receiving around two thousand four hundred children aged one month to eighteen years from across the country every year, as day patients or with accommodation. It works on weekdays until the evening and on Saturday mornings.

The main profile is cerebral palsy, developmental delays and neurological and orthopaedic conditions: units of early intervention, diagnosis and consultation, physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy, psycho-verbal rehabilitation and social assistance, with kinesiotherapy, physiotherapy, heat therapy, balneotherapy and individual aquatic therapy, speech therapy, neuropsychological assessment and a dietetic service with its own kitchen. Admission requires an F-027/e referral from the family doctor, coordinated through the family-doctor centre's medical council, and prior booking by phone; treatment is free under CNAM insurance.
