Novembre Cafe

A small family-run cafe at 2/2 Vladimir Korolenko Street, in the Dokuceaev part of Telecentru, staffed by the owner together with her children. Its strength is the in-house patisserie: cream-and-meringue wafer rolls have become the thing people come for, alongside homemade cakes, poppy-seed bakes and other desserts made in small batches. Decaf coffee is available, and in summer guests sit on a terrace crowded with greenery. The interior, full of old objects, is compared by visitors to a cafe inside a British house.

Google reviews show customers are highly satisfied. Three points recur: the taste of the desserts, described as hard to find elsewhere in the city and tied to childhood memories; the intimate feel of the room and the terrace; and the warm, personal service from the family itself. One practical remark comes up more than once — there is no ingredient or allergen list at the counter, which caught out guests with intolerances. If you avoid certain ingredients, ask about them before choosing a cake.
