Building materials in Buiucani, Chișinău
Lumea Tapetelor (“World of Wallpaper”) is a specialist wallpaper shop at 18 Ion Pelivan Street in Buiucani. It stocks vinyl and non-woven wallpapers, photo murals for children’s rooms, kitchens and bedrooms, decorative wall and ceiling panels, adhesives and other accessories, and some lighting as well. The collections come from European manufacturers and range from classic to loft styles. Orders can also be placed on tapete.md, with free, fast delivery within Chișinău.
Shoppers are mostly delighted. They praise the very wide choice – from budget papers to premium collections –, the big sample books and consultants who help put vague ideas into words. Less frequent complaints concern staff who were not attentive enough or a price that did not seem to match the quality.
If you are papering a whole room, make sure all rolls come from the same batch. The shop’s contact details are in the listing.
