Family Doctors Centre No. 6

Centrul Medicilor de Familie nr. 6 at 6 Mitropolit Petru Movilă Street in the Buiucani district is one of the three primary-care units of the Buiucani Territorial Medical Association. It was created in 2000 by reorganising the former Children's Polyclinic No. 3, which is why many still associate it with paediatric care. It is open on weekdays until the evening and on Saturdays.

Two family-medicine sections work here with doctors and nurses by sector; vaccinations, procedures and day-ward treatment are available, while specialist consultations and investigations require a referral to the association's Consultative-Diagnostic Centre at 2 Caragiale Street. Registration with a family doctor is by home address; services are provided under CNAM insurance, and booking is online via SIA AMP or at the reception. The association's website lists only the centre's staff, without its own schedule.

Patient opinions are largely negative, typical of municipal family-doctor centres: a reception that does not answer the phone, the front-desk tone and waiting. The ultrasound doctor and the day-ward care are praised by name.
