Diagnostica, Chiptuning și Altele
Auto service in Buiucani, Chișinău
The workshop „Diagnostica, Chiptuning și Altele” at 14/3 Calea Ieșilor Street in the Buiucani district is oriented towards the electronic side of the car rather than heavy mechanical work.
It performs computer diagnostics and reads fault codes on the engine and other control units, chip tuning with modification of the control unit's software, deactivation of exhaust after-treatment systems, work on electronic modules and electrical fault-finding. This kind of work requires a programmer suited to the model and, more importantly, a copy of the original software before any intervention — it is worth asking directly whether a backup is made.
The company has only a simple page with no detailed service list, and there are no public reviews. Price and timing are confirmed by phone, and with software modification it is worth discussing upfront the effects on the factory warranty, fuel consumption and long-term reliability.
