Jorge Dental Studio is a multidisciplinary dental clinic at 21 Ismail Street in central Chișinău, led by dentist Gheorghe Ciupercă. The team manages both routine dental care and complex cases that require coordinated treatment by several specialists and a staged treatment plan.
An important area of the clinic’s work is gnathology — diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ), bite and masticatory-system disorders. Gnathological assessment may be particularly relevant for jaw pain or clicking, bruxism, muscular discomfort, and before prosthetic, orthodontic or implant treatment.
Jorge Dental Studio provides microscope-assisted endodontic treatment, oral surgery and implantology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, aesthetic dentistry, professional hygiene and paediatric dentistry. For patients with significant dental anxiety, children, and cases requiring extensive treatment in one session, the clinic offers sedation and dental treatment under general anaesthesia with an anaesthesiologist providing monitoring throughout the procedure.
The initial consultation focuses on diagnosis and an individual treatment plan. With a multidisciplinary team, patients can complete the necessary stages of care in one clinic — from diagnosis and conservative treatment to functional and aesthetic rehabilitation.

How much does a dental consultation cost in Chisinau?
At Jorge Dental Studio a consultation with a dentist costs 200 MDL, and a consultation with chief dentist Gheorghe Ciuperca starts at 300 MDL (clinic prices, 2026). At the first visit the dentist examines the teeth, orders diagnostics if needed and proposes several treatment plan options with an estimated cost for each. The final price depends on the complexity of the case and the materials chosen.
Where can I get dental treatment under general anesthesia in Chisinau?
Jorge Dental Studio treats teeth under general anesthesia, administered by anesthesiologist Virgiliu Guțan, MD, PhD, head of the anesthesiology department at the Republican Clinical Hospital. One hour of general anesthesia costs 3,000 MDL, one hour of sedation 2,400 MDL. The clinic recommends general anesthesia for young children (under three it is practically the only option), people with severe dental fear and patients with special needs.
How can a child who is afraid of the dentist get their teeth treated?
At Jorge Dental Studio children who are afraid or cannot sit still in the chair are treated under sedation or general anesthesia, with no pain or stress. The clinic does not treat children by force, as this reinforces fear of the dentist.
How much does a dental implant cost in Chisinau?
At Jorge Dental Studio placing a Dentium implant (South Korea) costs 7,000 MDL, the healing abutment 500 MDL. A crown on the implant with abutment: porcelain-fused-to-metal 7,000 MDL, all-ceramic or zirconia 10,600 MDL. So one tooth on an implant with a metal-ceramic crown costs from 14,500 MDL, excluding diagnostics and any bone grafting.
Where can I get root canal treatment under a microscope in Chisinau?
At Jorge Dental Studio all root canal, pulpitis and periodontitis treatment is done under a Leica dental microscope (Germany). Filling one canal with the Thermafil system costs 1,200 MDL, re-treatment 1,600 MDL. The microscope makes it possible to find and treat every canal, including extra canals that cannot be seen without magnification.
How much does professional teeth cleaning cost in Chisinau?
At Jorge Dental Studio professional oral hygiene (ultrasound, AirFlow, polishing) costs 1,400 MDL. Gum treatment with the Vector device costs 1,600 MDL per session. Teeth can also be checked for hidden caries with the DIAGNOcam device for 500 MDL.
How much does aesthetic restoration of a front tooth cost?
At Jorge Dental Studio aesthetic restoration with Esthet-X (Dentsply) costs 1,600 MDL, and restoration of a front tooth by chief dentist Gheorghe Ciuperca starts at 2,400 MDL. Gheorghe Ciuperca is the clinic founder, a two-time Moldovan champion in anterior tooth restoration, with 27 years in dentistry.
What is gnathological diagnostics and who needs it?
Gnathological diagnostics at Jorge Dental Studio examines how the teeth, temporomandibular joints and chewing muscles work in motion, not just how they look. Unlike a CT scan, which shows a static picture, it records jaw movements with sensors and scanners; the procedure is painless. It is recommended for clicking or pain in the jaw, headaches, bruxism, and before veneers, crowns, implants or orthodontic treatment.
