Amor Amar is a small patisserie at 64 Mihai Eminescu Street in the city centre, built around one thing — the éclair. They are handmade on site with fine creams and delicate glazes, and besides the sweet ones there are savoury mini éclairs meant for dinners, events or gifts. Éclair boxes can be ordered on amoramar.md with card payment, though some sets require a pre-order. New flavours are posted on Instagram (@amoramar.md).
The room is small but full of character, and there is a terrace in warm weather. Coffee, tea and matcha are served alongside the pastries.
Customers are highly satisfied. They call the éclairs the stars of the place and praise the variety of flavours, good-quality matcha, attention to detail — down to how the tea is poured — and the friendly staff. The downsides mentioned are the limited space, some sets being available only to order, and no music on the terrace.
