Baby Zoo

Baby Zoo, at 23/1 Decebal Boulevard in Botanica inside the Jumbo complex, combines two formats: a petting zoo and a pet shop. It is aimed mainly at families who want their children to meet animals up close.

In the petting area visitors, mostly families with children, can do more than look: they can stroke and feed the animals. The shop sells small pets such as hamsters and other rodents, along with what you need to care for them.

People rate the place well, but opinions are divided. Many praise the pleasant atmosphere, friendly animals and the educational value for kids; others complain about cleanliness and smell, the condition of the animals, staff not stopping rough handling, and delays in opening.
