Community Mental Health Centre Ciocana

Centrul Comunitar de Sănătate Mintală Ciocana at 23 Uzinelor Street in the Ciocana district is the district's public mental-health service — one of the five community centres in Chișinău created under the MENSANA reform — housed in the building of Family Doctors' Centre No. 9 of the Ciocana Territorial Medical Association. Hours are published neither on the network's portal nor on Google; those above are the association's usual ones and are worth confirming by phone.

A team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and psychiatric nurses offers consultations, medication, psychosocial interventions, day-centre activities, support groups, home visits and referrals to psychiatric hospitals; psychiatric certificates for driving licences or firearms are also issued here, for a fee. Services are free and confidential for district residents: come with a family-doctor referral or directly, booking by phone according to home address.

Reviews are very few: a long-time patient thanks the friendly staff for their help, another is sceptical; we cannot offer a broader picture of the experience.
