The Botanica Territorial Social Insurance Office (CTAS Botanica) is the branch of Moldova's National Social Insurance House (CNAS) for residents and employers of the Botanica sector. It receives and processes applications for pensions and other social insurance benefits.
Residents come here to apply for an old-age, disability or survivor's pension, maternity, childcare or sick-leave benefits, funeral grants, allowances and compensations. Visitors say the queue runs on tickets handed out at the entrance, the guard directs you to the right counter, and you need photocopies of your documents.

Main entrance has no wheelchair/stroller access. The ticketing system was down. The employees were friendly, there are chairs and the space was pleasantly cooled.

Am rămas profund dezamăgită de atitudinea personalului de la CTAS. În loc să ofere sprijin și informații clare celor care apelează la instituție, mulți angajați manifestă un comportament lipsit de respect și răbdare. Tonul superior, răspunsurile scurte și uneori ironice, precum și lipsa dorinței de a ajuta creează o atmosferă tensionată și neplăcută. Este trist că o instituție publică, care ar trebui să fie în serviciul cetățenilor, dă dovadă de un asemenea dezinteres față de oameni. În loc să explice procedurile sau să ofere îndrumare, angajații par deranjați de întrebările celor care vin să-și rezolve problemele.
