Diplom, bd. Mircea cel Bătrân 24

The office at 24 Mircea cel Bătrân Boulevard in the Ciocana sector is the local branch of the Diplom translation network, which has offices in several sectors of Chișinău and in other towns. The other addresses are on diplom.md.

Diplom provides written, oral and specialised translation, translates passports, certificates, diplomas and company documents, and handles apostille, consular legalisation and document retrieval, as well as recognition of education, nostrification and paperwork for Italy. The website lists more than a dozen working languages.

Customers rate it well overall, but opinions about this branch are divided. Some praise the speed: a driving licence translated into German and certified within a day, a certificate for the civil registry translated in a couple of hours. Others complain about staff attitude, a price higher than quoted by phone, long turnaround and an apostilled set of documents sent abroad with errors.
