Go East – Go West, listed at 50 Mihai Eminescu Street in central Chișinău, is not a typical travel agency selling holidays abroad but a service for foreign visitors coming to Moldova. It is run by Alfredo Ferrari, an Italian guide based in Chișinău who works in Italian, English and Spanish. His portal chisinau-kishinev.com (mostly in Italian) describes the services: transfers to and from Chișinău airport, guided excursions and tours around Moldova — including Tiraspol — as well as to Romania and Ukraine, and help finding rental apartments in the city centre.
The site doubles as a small guide to the capital: what to see, how to get to Moldova, local food and wine, nightlife and a blog with news about the country.
