MOIKA

MOIKA is a self-service car wash at 147/1 Muncești Highway in the Botanica district. The bays are touchless, with stepped programmes depending on how dirty the car is: active foam, rinse, hydrophobic wax, insect removal, a final rinse with demineralised water and dedicated winter modes. On site there are powerful vacuums, including a wet one, and chemicals for tyre dressing, interior plastics and glass are provided free of charge. Payment is by tokens, banknotes straight into the machine or the wash's own customer card, which earns cashback; bank cards are not accepted at the bays. A hand wash, known to customers as Gagarin Wash, operates on the same site. Website: moika.md.

Customers rate the service positively: the foam and pressure, clean water, vacuums and the helpful operator are praised. Criticism comes from customers who landed in a bay with weak pressure or a faulty foam gun — if a bay is not working well, it is worth simply moving to another.
