ProMED Oftalmologie (OftalmoCorrect ProMED) is the ProMED network's eye clinic at 13/1 Miron Costin Street in the Râșcani district. The network has operated since 2005 and has four clinics in Chișinău: ProMED Family at 44/1 Nicolae Costin, ProMED Family&Kids, also with an eye room, at 24/1 Ion Creangă, Laser ProMED at 66 Kogălniceanu, and this clinic devoted entirely to eyes.
It offers consultations and computerised diagnostics for adults and children (Plusoptix for the youngest), eye and laser surgery, cataract treatment, myopia-control programmes with night lenses (orthokeratology) and monitoring for as long as they are worn; there is also a medical optics shop. Online booking and remote consultations are available at oftalmo.md; certain investigations are covered by CNAM insurance.
Patient opinions are divided: fair prices, doctors who take time to explain, quickly available appointments and night-lens monitoring are appreciated, while several recent reviews complain of superficial examination after injuries and wrong referrals between specialists.
