PROSTYLE at 28/3 Sarmizegetusa Street in the Botanica district specialises in wrapping cars in film — changing colour without paint.

Coloured vinyl films, matt or gloss, are applied to the whole body or to individual panels, along with anti-gravel protection film, chrome delete on window surrounds and grilles, and window tinting. The advantage of wrapping over painting is that it is reversible: the film can be removed and the factory paint remains intact, which matters at resale. The workshop keeps long hours, from eight in the morning to nine in the evening, six days a week.

Customers describe work on new models for which cutting templates did not yet exist, with the film cut by hand — a job that took nearly two weeks but was done without compromising on detail.
