Refill — Detergenți la Robinet dispenses laundry products by volume instead of selling them in packaging. The liquids are kept in tanks and poured into a container you bring with you, or one you buy in the shop, in whatever quantity suits you — useful if you are in the city for a few weeks and do not want a five-litre bottle. The range concentrates on washing: separate formulas for whites and colours, for delicate fabrics, wool and synthetics, and solutions aimed at stains.

The address is 23/6 Alba Iulia Street in the Buiucani district, a few doors along from the refill shop at number 21. It is a small ground-floor space, easy to walk past unless you are watching for the sign.

Reviews are still few — only a couple so far — so the perfect score should be read with that in mind. Those who did write are highly satisfied: they point to the Italian origin of the formulas, how well they lift stains, and the convenience of the liquid form, which measures out easily and dissolves without residue.
