SANO

SANO is the brand store of the Israeli household chemicals maker Sano in Chisinau. The shelves cover laundry detergents, cleaners for kitchens, bathrooms and general surfaces, dishwashing liquids, disinfectants, air fresheners and personal hygiene items — the full cleaning basket for a household in one visit.

The shop sits at 99 Decebal Boulevard in the Botanica district, on the ground floor of the building, unit 23. It is a practical stop if you are staying on the left bank of the city and need supplies without hunting through a large supermarket; regular customers can get a discount card.

Judging by Google reviews, customers rate the service positively: they single out the quality of the Israeli products and a polite, well-informed assistant who helps match a product to the job. The same reviews also repeat two complaints — service at the counter can be very slow, and some shoppers ran into failures when paying with points from the UDS loyalty programme.
