Tehoptimed

Tehoptimed (SA Tehoptimed) at 19A Maria Drăgan Street in the Ciocana district is the successor of the former state „Medtehnica” association, which supplied medical equipment to the whole republic from 1964; a joint-stock company since 1995. It is primarily a supplier to hospitals, clinics, practices and pharmacies, but also sells to private individuals, with prices shown in the online shop. It works on weekdays.

The catalogue has seventeen sections — from surgical instruments, anaesthesia, sterilisation, laboratory, diagnostics and physiotherapy to ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology, dentistry and training manikins; for private customers the relevant items are wheelchairs, including electric ones, electric hospital beds, canes and crutches, oxygen concentrators and CPAP machines. It offers advice on choosing equipment, nationwide delivery, technical support and maintenance; contact is also via WhatsApp and Telegram.

Reviews are few but positive: customers mention medical equipment and instruments at affordable prices.
