CARSOFT

CARSOFT at 772 Muncești Road in the Botanica district is a workshop specialising in vehicle electronics and software. No mechanical work is done here: the profile is working with control units and their software.

Services include stage-one chip tuning with a power increase, restoring the engine unit's original firmware, deactivating speed and rev limiters, deactivating EGR, particulate-filter and AdBlue systems, clearing fault codes on the engine, ABS, ESP, automatic transmission and airbag units, coding and programming, recalibrating driver-assistance modules and fitting multimedia systems. Indicative prices for each service are published on the website.

Reviews are uniformly excellent, at the top score. Customers describe electronic problems solved quickly — from tyre-pressure sensors to recalibrating assistance modules on electric cars — and a friendly team. For software-modification work it is worth discussing upfront what it means for the car's factory warranty.
