The National Anti-Corruption Centre (CNA) is Moldova's specialised state body for preventing and fighting corruption. It investigates corruption and related offences, including money laundering, reviews draft legislation for corruption risks and assesses institutional integrity.
Residents contact the CNA to report corruption: bribe demands, abuse of office or influence peddling in public or private organisations. Reports can be made through the National Anti-Corruption Hotline, in writing or in person. The centre also runs prevention work, including training, awareness campaigns and an anti-corruption volunteer programme, and publishes press releases and policy documents on its website.
