The Embassy of the State of Israel in Chisinau is Israel's first permanent embassy in Moldova, opened after more than three decades of diplomatic relations. Previously Israel had only an embassy office in Chisinau, with consular matters handled by the Israeli Embassy in Bucharest.
The embassy handles political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries and keeps in touch with Moldova's Jewish community. Israeli citizens and anyone needing visas, legalisation or other consular services should check the official website to see which services are available in Chisinau and which still go through the embassy in Bucharest.
