X-Style, also known as X-Style Outdoor Center, is an outdoor equipment store at 27 Grigore Vieru Boulevard in Râșcani. It stocks gear for hiking, camping, climbing, skiing and water sports: backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, technical footwear and clothing, mountaineering kit, cycling and diving accessories, roof racks and outdoor electronics such as action cameras, GPS units and radios.
Brands include Deuter, Petzl, Black Diamond, MSR, Asolo, Rossignol, Thule, Garmin and GoPro. Besides sales, the shop offers equipment rental, ski servicing, instalment purchases and delivery, and orders can also be placed at xstyle.md.
Customers are highly satisfied. They praise the wide range, the quality of the gear and knowledgeable staff who advise beginners and experienced hikers alike; many also recommend it for gifts. Criticism is rare and mostly concerns how flexible the checkout staff are in unusual situations.
