Hyperion

Hyperion is a bookshop at the very start of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, at number 6, in central Chișinău. It stocks fiction in Romanian and Russian, children’s and preschool books, school textbooks and workbooks, teaching materials, maps and wall charts, as well as toys and postcards. Part of the range can also be ordered through the online shop carteamea.md, listed as the store’s website.

Customers rate the shop positively, although there are not many reviews yet. They mostly praise low book prices – especially for paperbacks –, the friendly shop assistant and the chance to find rarer or beautifully illustrated editions, and the postcards get a mention too. Some shoppers, however, find the selection of titles limited.
