Ambasada Georgiei

The Embassy of Georgia in Chisinau represents Georgia in Moldova and handles political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries. Its consular section works at the same address.

Georgian citizens living in or visiting Moldova come here for passports and travel documents, civil registration, legalisation of documents and help in emergencies. Moldovan citizens do not need a visa for short trips to Georgia, so locals mostly contact the embassy about long-term stays, work, study or document questions.

The embassy is located at 57, 31 August 1989 Street in the Centru district, in a recognisable historic villa in the city centre. Phone: +373 22 277 000, email: [email protected]. It is best to confirm the required documents and procedure by phone or email before you visit.
