Aureola

At 132 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard in central Chișinău, Aureola combines a jewellery shop with a pawnshop. The display cases hold gold and silver jewellery — rings, chains, earrings, bracelets — including pieces from well-known manufacturers, and the pawnshop offers loans against collateral. New arrivals are posted on Instagram (aureola.jewellery); the aureola-lombard.md website is currently under reconstruction.

Google ratings are above average, but opinions are split. Alongside satisfied buyers there has been a fair amount of recent criticism: complaints about unfriendly sales staff, a chain that broke soon after purchase, and branded pieces priced higher than in the manufacturer’s own store. It is worth comparing prices and keeping the receipt and warranty card.
