Osteomed is an orthopaedic shop with its own orthopaedics and podology clinic at 23/9 Mitropolit Petru Movilă Street in the Buiucani district. The shop has traded since 2001, stocking braces and supports, compression hosiery and orthopaedic footwear for children and adults from makers in Turkey, Poland, Italy and Spain; the clinic, opened in 2019, offers orthopaedist-podologist consultations, musculoskeletal ultrasound, medical pedicure, physiotherapy and physical therapy. Since 2020 it has made custom insoles: 3D scanning, computerised gait analysis and 3D printing. There is also a branch in Bălți.
Customers rate the service positively: reviews repeatedly mention comfortable insoles, ultrasound with clear explanations, advice on choosing braces and friendly staff; for compression products, calling ahead to check stock is recommended.
