Theatre “Geneza Art”

Geneza Art is an independent theatre in Buiucani, at 109 Alexei Mateevici Street. Founded by the Burlaca-Gologan family, it debuted in 2010 with “Floare albastră”, a tribute to Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle, and has since built its own repertoire: classics given a contemporary reading, distinctive stage design and a focus on young actors, with productions aimed at audiences of all ages.
Its productions have won festival awards and nominations at the UNITEM Gala. The best-known title right now is the comedy “Familionul”, which regularly fills the house.
Audiences are highly satisfied. Reviews praise the acting, the energy of the company and the emotional impact of the shows, and many viewers keep coming back. Worth knowing: some performances run long, and tickets for the popular titles sell out quickly.
