Termoelectrica S.A., headquartered at 6 Tudor Vladimirescu Street, is the state-owned company that generates electricity and heat at Chișinău’s combined heat and power plants and supplies district heating and hot water to apartment blocks, public institutions and businesses; it also delivers industrial steam. The company maintains the heating networks and substations, starts and ends the heating season and publishes on its website the list of addresses temporarily cut off for upgrades or repairs.

On termoelectrica.md customers can submit meter readings, pay bills, switch to e-invoices and file requests through online forms; there is also a call centre and in-person citizen hearings.
