The Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Moldova is Japan's diplomatic mission in Chisinau. It represents the Japanese state in its relations with Moldova, oversees cooperation and development assistance projects, promotes cultural and educational exchanges and provides consular assistance to Japanese citizens in the country.
Moldovan and other nationals mostly come here for Japanese visas — tourist, business, visiting relatives or study. Application forms are filled in beforehand and documents are submitted directly at the embassy, where staff explain anything missing. You can also ask about Japanese Government scholarships and cultural programmes. Japanese citizens receive consular assistance here.

Aș dori să-i mulțumesc în mod special angajatei consulatului. Mi-a explicat toate întrebările legate de documente clar, calm și răbdător, fără a fi prea formală. Este evident că este dedicată și încearcă cu sinceritate să mă ajute. Îi sunt foarte recunoscătoare pentru profesionalismul și amabilitatea ei - deosebit de valoroase în contextul actual.

Aplicația pentru visa a fost foarte simpla, am îndeplinit formele necesare, ne-am apropiat fara programare, nu era nimeni acolo, am depus actele, in 5 zile am luat visa. Dna de la recepție foarte drăguță, ne-a explicat si îndrumat.
