Consulatul onorific al Armeniei
Embassies and consulates in Buiucani
The Honorary Consulate of Armenia in Chisinau represents the country in Moldova through an honorary consul. Unlike an embassy, an honorary consulate has limited consular functions: it supports economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries and acts as a local point of contact.
Armenian citizens in Moldova can turn to it for assistance, information and useful contacts, and the consul can sometimes help with preparing or forwarding documents. Passports and visas are normally handled by the embassy. The Armenian embassy accredited to Moldova is in Kyiv, at 45 Volodymyrska Street, tel. +380 44 234 9005.
The consulate is located at 6 Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street in the Buiucani district. Phone: +373 22 995 415, email: [email protected]. Honorary consulates often work by appointment, so call or write before you visit. Contact details come from the diplomatic list of Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and should be verified.
