Optic-Lux
Optics in Botanica, Chișinău
Optic-Lux is a chain of opticians in Chișinău, operating since 1992, and the shop on Zelinski Street is one of its branches. It offers computerised eye diagnostics and optometrist consultations, contact lens fitting, and prescription glasses made to order. The chain also provides ophthalmological monitoring using specialised equipment.
The shop is at 15 Nicolae Zelinski Street in the Botanica sector.
Ratings are below average, experiences vary and opinions are split. Some customers praise the specialists, the modern equipment and the detailed explanations during the eye test. Others complained about staff attitude, described as rushed or unfriendly, and about the quality of their glasses: frame parts that bend easily, or lenses that required a repeat eye test after the glasses were made.
Optic-Lux has its own website and a Facebook page. Before visiting, it is worth calling to book an eye test and check when the shop is open; the phone number is listed on the company card.

Do not recommend at all. Felt real pain in the eyes after I purchased prescribed glasses. Had to come back and request re-check of my vision. The consultant was quite impatient and mentioned she "had only 10 minutes for each visitor". Eventually I requested her to give me the testing glasses with the magnitude I thought would fit me better. And it was the case. And, by the way, they have nothing to do with the clinic, they just share the building.

Oamenii stau și așteaptă la ușă. Ei se duc la masă când vor . Nici nu e scris pe ușa când au masa. Și încă nu s amabili deloc.
